Job summary

Nardev Builders is seeking a welding supervisor to read technical drawings, interpret welding procedures, and supervise on-site or workshop welding activities in Singapore. The role requires ensuring quality and safety while coordinating welder work and maintaining logs.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of mechanical experience, solid communication skills, and familiarity with MIG/TIG/Stick welding and related tools. Singapore-based position with on-site work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication standards, and welding procedures.
• Familiar with MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller, etc.
• Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications.
• Maintain welder qualification records, weld logs, and inspection reports.
• Supervise welding activities on site or workshop per WPS and drawings.
• Monitor welder performance to meet quality and safety standards.
• Enforce safety procedures, especially hot work and confined spaces.
• Support training and qualification of welders.
• Plan daily work schedules and manpower to meet targets.

Responsibilities:

• 1.Able to read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication standards, and welding procedures.
• 2.Familiar with common tools: MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller & etc.
• 3.Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications.
• 4.Maintain accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports.
• 5.Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop to ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project drawings
• 6.Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.
• 7.Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially related to hot work and confined spaces.
• 8.Support training and qualification of welders in line with company and industry standards.
• 9.Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.
