Job summary

LAGUNA HOTEL HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dynamic sales professional to manage all wedding, catering and group sales, from initial inquiry to event execution.

You will assist the Director of Sales & Distribution in preparing departmental budgets and forecasts, ensuring cost control, while building rapport with clients before, during, and after conferences to drive repeat business. Site inspections and monthly forecasts are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration/Marketing/Hotel Management or relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a hotel/events environment.
• Positive attitude and drive to excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all wedding, catering and group sales in the hotel, from booking events to their execution.
• Assist Director of Sales & Distribution to prepare departmental budget and forecasts, operating within set parameters, ensure effective cost control.
• To establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business.
• Conduct site inspections and sales activities as required.
• To work closely with the Director of Sales & Distribution to prepare monthly forecasts.
• To develop the annual business and marketing plan for the department.
• Achieves Wedding, Banquet and Catering budgeted set out in the yearly business plan for the hotel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
