Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank is seeking an Insurance Specialist to support clients through fact finding and insurance need analysis, delivering prompt advice and solutions. You will partner with Relationship Managers to hit referrals and sales targets, while training teams on insurance propositions and processes.

The ideal candidate has extensive insurance sales experience in banking, strong business communication, and relevant certifications (M5–HI).

Qualifications

Good knowledge of insurance concepts and products.
Experience in insurance sales is preferred.
Good business communication skills.
8+ years of relevant sales experience in a bank.
Certification: M5, M5A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A and HI preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct fact finding, insurance need analysis for clients and ensure prompt advice and solutions are offered to clients.
Ensure a systematic review process for existing policyholders.
Work with Relationship Managers in achieving the target number of sales, referrals and conversion.
Train the Relationship Managers via regular training, workshops and case-studies to deliver product knowledge, insurance proposition/pitch, processes and sharing of new ideas.
Generate ideas and action plan on increasing sales activity and other relevant financial drivers.
