Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited is seeking an Insurance Specialist to help clients navigate life and business changes by simplifying insurance solutions and reviewing existing policies.

You will partner with Relationship Managers to achieve referrals and sales conversions, providing regular training and sharing ideas to enhance product knowledge, processes and client outcomes within a wealth and retail banking framework.

Qualifications

• Good in insurance concepts and product knowledge.
• Experience in insurance sales is preferred.
• Good command in business communication skills.
• 8+ years of relevant sales experience in a bank.
• M5, M5A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A and Health Insurance (HI) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fact finding and insurance need analysis for clients and ensure prompt advice and solutions.
• Ensure a systematic review process for existing policyholders.
• Work with Relationship Managers to achieve target sales, referrals and conversions.
• Train Relationship Managers via regular training, workshops and case-studies to deliver product knowledge and insurance propositions.
• Generate ideas and action plans to increase sales activity and other financial drivers.
