Job summary

PUREAIR (ASIA) PTE. LTD. seeks a field technician to perform water treatment duties on customer sites across Singapore.

The role involves extensive driving, working outdoors, and reporting to a Supervisor or Manager. Qualifications include a Diploma in Chemical, Chemistry or Mechanical, ability to work independently or in a team, and knowledge of water treatment processes such as filtration, disinfection and chemical treatment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical/Chemistry/Mechanical or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, sometimes in demanding environments.
• In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes (filtration, disinfection, chemical treatment).
• Ability to prepare and submit reports on time.
• Experience in cooling tower and boiler water treatment is advantageous.
• Experience in wastewater treatment is advantageous.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and CIP processes is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and work outdoors on customer sites; not an office job.
• Utilize company vehicles for site visits.
• Report to Supervisor or Manager overseeing service requirements for all sites.
• Collaborate with Watercare Technical Team and Management.
• Work closely with site staff and ensure timely delivery of service requirements.

Job description

Job Responsibilities :

• This is a position that requires a lot of driving and working OUTDOORS on customer sites.

• Company vehicles will be provided when travelling to site.

• Must posses a valid driver's license. Min. Class 3 license holder.

• Report directly to the Supervisor or Manager which oversees the service requirement for all sites.

• Work closely with the Watercare Technical Team, as well as Management Team.

• NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT AN OFFICE JOB. You will be constantly working outdoors on customer sites.

Job Requirements :

• Candidate who possesses a Diploma (Chemical), Chemistry, Mechanical or equivalent will be looked upon favorably.

• Able to work independently or as part of a team, sometimes in demanding environments.

• In-depth knowledges of water process, including Filtration, Disinfection and Chemical Treatment.

• Able to prepare and submit reports on time.
