Job summary

ALPHA GRACE ENVIRO-TECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on technician to operate and maintain water treatment systems across production and installation stages.

The role involves supporting project, production and installation teams, performing assembly tasks and basic troubleshooting with electrical and mechanical skills. Applicants should have an ITE or engineering diploma, be a team player with good communication, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, including shifts and overtime

Qualifications

• ITE or diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Team player with self-motivated attitude.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Experience in fully automated machine assembly (electrical & mechanical).
• Experience in waste and water industry is advantageous.
• Knowledge of PVC and metal piping is advantageous.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress.
• Able to work shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Have basic understanding and operation of water treatment systems across production, assembly and operation.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, housekeeping and maintenance of equipment, systems and tooling.
• Support Project, Production and Installation Teams, including installation, testing and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot issues not requiring extensive technical background with basic mechanical aptitude.
• Communicate with Engineers on major process issues as needed.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as requested.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• To have basic understanding and operating water treatment system, covering the whole production, assembly and operating process from start to end.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations, the general housekeeping and the proper maintenance of the company equipment, system and tooling.
• To provide support to Project, Production and Installation Teams when required such as the physical installation and assembling (include piping works), operating, upgrading and testing of systems.
• Must possess basic mechanical aptitude to be able to troubleshoot any issue that does not require an extensive technical background.
• Good experience & skill in fully automated machine assembly, both electrical & mechanical.
• To provide support and solutions to all M&E, handle repairs and maintenance matters.
• Assist in resolving production issues due to technical or other constrain.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
• Installation & commissioning of machines.
• Communicate with Engineer on any major process issues as and when required.
• Any Other Ad-hoc duties per requested.

Requirements:

• Min. ITE or diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Team player who is self-driven.
