Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Chemical engineering or Environmental engineering.
• Minimum 2 years operation experience in Water/Wastewater treatment is advantageous.

• Good team player capable of delivering results under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive in keeping up with new technologies and optimizing plant operations.
• Independent with initiative, resourceful and positive attitude.
• Possess good leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water treatment plant process parameters and logistics.
• Water treatment plant optimization.
• Supervise a team of technicians to ensure effective performance of the plant.
• Review and implement SOPs, MSRAs, shift reports, and plant operating performance.
• Enforce safety in the Water plant following GHSSE and regulatory requirements, including PTW system.
• Support decentralised plant operation troubleshooting, commissioning, and support.
• Support Plant Manager and Ops lead in developing and implementing AOP for customers.
• Successful candidate may join CERT or SIC training as part of duties.
• Serve as a key operational resource, responding to plant upsets and ensuring safe operations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation/reports as per Group standards.
• Altering plant process parameters / chemical dosing after consultation with Operation Lead.
• Plan overtime and leave coverage for technicians.
• Support plant billing.
