Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Water Technician to support semiconductor operations in West Singapore. You will monitor SCADA for UPW, WWTP and PCW systems, perform water analyses and ensure daily replenishment and maintenance tasks are completed.

The role requires a NITEC in Mechanical/Mechatronics, basic MS Office, and good English for reporting. Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in a cleanroom environment and collaborate with the team is essential.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Mechanical/Mechatronics is required.
• Experience with SCADA for process control is advantageous.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom and 12-hour shift.
• Proficient in MS Office, able to write simple reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Daily-checking and inspection of SCADA for UPW, WWTP & PCW systems.
• Perform water analysis for UPW, WWTP & PCW systems.
• Replenish consumables, maintain equipment as scheduled.
• Support monthly samples submission for legal compliance.
• Execute project installation, machine modifications and productivity improvements.
• Train new staff and provide maintenance guidance.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on time.
• Ensure compliance with ISO operating procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities:

• Daily-checking and inspection of SCADA for UPW, WWTP & PCW system.
• Perform water analysis for UPW, WWTP & PCW system.
• Perform daily operational consumables replenishment, scheduled/routine equipment maintenance.
• Support monthly samples submission for legal compliances.
• Execute project installation, machine modifications and productivity improvements.
• Conduct operational training and maintenance guidance for new joined members.
• Submit daily, weekly, monthly reports to suprvisor on time.
• Ensure compliance to ISO Operating Procedures with Safe Practices.

Requirements:

• NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience in using SCADA systems for process control in Annual Plant Maintenance, ISO/RBA audits, and NEA/PUB audits would be an advantage.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
• Proficient with basic Microsoft Office, speak English and write simple report.
• Willing to work in cleanroom environment and 12-hour shift arrangement.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work in teams.
