You will ensure regulatory adherence, promote sustainability, and foster a safety‑first culture while building strong client relationships and enabling business growth in the waste management sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years in waste management/environmental services.
• 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of waste management operations, disposal methods and recycling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the waste management facility.
• Develop and implement processes for waste collection, transportation, processing, disposal and recycling.
• Develop and execute long-term business strategies, operational plans, policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for growth, cost optimisation and revenue generation.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure performance.
• Manage budgets, control expenses and optimise resources.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety requirements.
• Lead and manage multiple departments and cross-functional teams.
