Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners invites applications for a Technician to support the design, construction and commissioning of waste management facilities. You will collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

The role requires a minimum Nitec/ Diploma in engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience; certifications like LEE, Boiler Attendant or WSHO are preferred. Duties include shift work, maintenance planning and safety oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec/ Diploma in engineering or related field.
• Diploma holders with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Nitec holders with 6–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Certifications such as LEE, Boiler Attendant or WSHO preferred.
• Strong technical background with analytical skills; solid waste knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support design, construction and commissioning of waste management facilities with consultants and stakeholders.
• Participate in testing, commissioning and factory acceptance tests (local and overseas).
• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.
• Implement preventive maintenance for electrical, control and mechanical systems.
• Manage contractors, enforce safety standards and oversee permit-to-work processes.
• Support development of SOPs, safety procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform shift duties when required.
