Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners in Singapore is seeking a Technician to support the design, construction, and commissioning of waste management facilities. You will participate in testing, commissioning, and factory acceptance tests with local and overseas teams.

The role includes leading maintenance, implementing preventive maintenance for electrical, control, and mechanical systems, and managing contractors to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec or Diploma in any Engineering field.
• Diploma holders with 3 years relevant experience.
• Nitec holders with 6–8 years relevant experience.
• Certifications: preference for Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, or Workplace Safety Health Officer.

Responsibilities

• Support design, construction, and commissioning of waste management facilities with consultants and stakeholders
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and factory acceptance tests (local & overseas)
• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient plant operations
• Implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical, control, and mechanical systems
• Manage contractors, enforce safety standards, and oversee permit-to-work processes
• Support development of SOPs, safety procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform shift duties when required
