Job summary

AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Underwriter & Operational Lead for Warranty Service Programs (WSP) to drive growth and profitability within a focused portfolio while strengthening underwriting discipline.

You will engage partners, brokers and internal stakeholders to expand WSP, implement controls, and ensure the quality of financial bookings while delivering client service and cross-functional collaboration across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer or commercial lines sales/business development/underwriting.
• Warranty or affinity/lifestyle products underwriting experience is a plus.
• Experience setting up and administering new programs, project management and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and administer a growing, profitable portfolio of WSP business within AIG’s agreed business plan and underwriting guidelines.
• Engage, develop and grow WSP business through Partnership, Agency & Broker distribution channels to achieve both top and bottom-line targets and maintain client service levels.
• Support the Head of WSP in developing and implementing tight operational controls in WSP Singapore.
• Ensure that programs are implemented thoroughly in accordance with AIG Policies.
• Ensure that financial bookings are correct and timely and monitor outputs to ensure any issues are identified and quickly remediated.
• Collaborate closely with and build excellent business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, key business partners and intermediaries through regular visitations and engagement.
• Any other assigned activities and projects.
