AIG Asia Pacific Insurance PTE. LTD. is seeking a Head of Group Business, Accident & Health (A&H) to lead and motivate a high-performing team, shape growth strategies, and drive P&L accountability across the Group A&H portfolio in the Singapore market.

You will build strong client, broker, and reinsurer relationships, oversee underwriting guidelines, and collaborate with international partners to grow A&H business, ensuring compliance and timely reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Group Accident & Health sales, business development or underwriting.
• Knowledge of Group A&H underwriting methodologies.
• Proven track record building relationships with brokers, agents, and corporate clients.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and analytical abilities.
• Outgoing, team-oriented leader with customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Group Accident & Health (A&H) team and lead strategies to accelerate growth and be fully accountable for P&L of the Group A&H business.
• Identify opportunities and strategies in support of growth in Group A&H space and develop appropriate distribution solutions in country environment.
• Actively develop and maintain solid working relationships with all clients, brokers, reinsurers and other stakeholders at C-Suite level.
• Work with international brokers and facility partners to underwrite and administer Group BTA & GPA, and corporate businesses within AIG's underwriting guidelines.
• Adhere to all underwriting procedures and compliance protocols as required.
• Liaise with administration staff, legal, claims, finance and accounting and any other services centre to ensure awareness of underwriting and business activities support standards required.
• Ensure delivery of reports and compliance tasks in timely fashion to key internal stakeholders as and when required.
• Ad-hoc special projects or requirements that may arise from time to time.
