AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Pte Ltd is seeking an Underwriter & Operational Lead for Warranty Service Programs in Singapore. The role focuses on underwriting and growing a high-profile WSP portfolio, while implementing tight operational controls and collaborating with partners and brokers.

The successful candidate will have proven underwriting and product development experience, strong communication skills and the ability to oversee multiple projects with a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer or commercial lines sales/business development/underwriting.
• Warranty or affinity/lifestyle products underwriting and/or product development experience.
• Background in setting up and administering new programs, project management and delivery.
• Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, analytical and multitasking skills.
• Organised and thorough with the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise accordingly.
• Outgoing person who is a strong team player with results driven focus and customer centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and administer a growing, profitable portfolio of WSP business within AIG’s agreed business plan and underwriting guidelines.
• Engage, develop and grow WSP business through Partnership, Agency & Broker distribution channels to achieve both top and bottom-line targets and maintain client service levels.
• Support the Head of WSP in developing and implementing tight operational controls in WSP Singapore.
• Ensure that programs are implemented thoroughly in accordance with AIG Policies.
• Ensure that financial bookings are correct and timely and monitor outputs to ensure any issues are identified and quickly remediated.
• Collaborate closely with and build excellent business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, key business partners and intermediaries through regular visitations and engagement.
• Any other assigned activities and projects.
