Job summary

American International Group, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an Underwriter and Operational Lead for Warranty Service Programs (WSP).

You will underwrite and administer a growing portfolio within approved guidelines while developing business through partnerships, agencies and brokers. The role requires experience in consumer or commercial lines sales or underwriting, program setup, project delivery, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer or commercial lines sales/business development/underwriting.
• Background in setting up and administering new programs, project management and delivery.
• Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, analytical and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and administer a growing, profitable portfolio of WSP business within AIG’s agreed business plan and underwriting guidelines.
• Engage, develop and grow WSP business through Partnership, Agency & Broker distribution channels to achieve top and bottom-line targets and maintain client service levels.
• Support the Head of WSP in developing and implementing tight operational controls in WSP Singapore.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and drive assigned activities and projects.
