Job summary

APPLICAM INTERNATIONAL (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Lead in Singapore to oversee daily warehouse activities, ensure timely order fulfilment, and coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading and shipping.

You will lead and train staff, monitor performance, maintain stock accuracy, conduct cycle counts, plan workloads and routes, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards while driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities (receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading and shipping) to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Lead, coach and train warehouse staff and drivers to maintain productivity and service standards.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, perform regular stock checks and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies.
• Plan manpower, workloads, delivery schedules and vehicle utilization; coordinate with sales and customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and enforce safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives for processes, layout and inventory management.

Job description

• Daily Operations & Supervision: Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities (including receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, and shipping) to ensure efficient workflows, proper duty allocation, and timely order fulfilment.
• Team Leadership & Training: Lead, guide, coach, and support staff (warehouse assistants and drivers), monitor performance, and train new team members to maintain high productivity and service standards.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, highlight replenishment needs, and implement corrective actions.
• Planning & Logistics Coordination: Plan manpower, daily workloads, delivery schedules, routes, and vehicle utilization. Coordinate with sales, logistics, and customers to meet requirements and resolve operational issues.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, safe working environment, ensure proper housekeeping, and enforce compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and support initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, processes, layout, and inventory management.
