Job summary

Seiho Machinery & Electric Co Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the Warehouse Manager in daily operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and delivery coordination.

The role ensures accurate inventory records, efficient order fulfilment, and adherence to safety standards while coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams. Strong leadership, Excel, and ERP proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of warehouse experience; knowledge of inventory management systems/ERP.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily warehouse activities.
• Supervise warehouse assistants and storekeepers.
• Perform daily store operation work: selecting, packing, labelling, storing, inspecting incoming goods, repackaging and dispatch.
• Inspect, weigh and package products with appropriate box sizes.
• Ensure timely preparation of customer orders.
• Monitor inventory and liaise with Sales coordinators.
• Operate forklift as required.
• Maintain orderly store area and proper item placement.
• Contribute to Inventory Management and ERP records.
• Assist Warehouse Manager in annual stock takes and admin.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor stock movement and report slow-moving or obsolete items.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics teams.
• Liaise with suppliers as needed.
• Support urgent customer requirements and vessel deliveries.
• Assign daily tasks to warehouse staff; monitor attendance and productivity.
• Provide on-the-job training; ensure SOP compliance, safety & housekeeping.
