Job summary

LEE HUAT YAP KEE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the premises, including the compound, car park, lobby, toilets, warehouse and rooftop.

You will perform cleaning, maintenance and waste management duties, report hazards to the Facilities/Safety Department, and ensure PPE is used and equipment stored properly. Working hours are Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:30pm, Sat 8:30am–12:30pm.

Qualifications

• Ensure safe and clean working environment as required.
• Report defects, leaks, hazards to Facilities/Safety Department immediately.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and PPE during duties.
• Store cleaning tools properly after use.
• Follow workplace safety rules and company regulations.
• Work At Height certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clear rubbish, dust, dirt, and debris from surrounding premises and compound.
• Sweep and clean car park and tanker parking areas, including the diesel pump area.
• Sweep and mop the main lobby and staircase area daily, and clean entrance glass panels.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish into rubbish bins, manage rubbish point areas.
• Wash basins, taps, toilets, urinals, bowls, cubicles, walls and mirrors.
• Cut and trim grass around the premises and remove dried leaves from landscaped areas.
• Clean drains using high-pressure water jet to prevent blockages.
• Assist with washing and cleaning of tanker as scheduled by Transport and Workshop department.
• Sweep rooftop areas and remove dried leaves to prevent blockages to rainwater outlets.
• Sweep warehouse floors and remove rubbish from work areas.

About the role

A Cleaner responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the premises, including compound, car park, entrance lobby, toilets, warehouse, and rooftop areas. The role involves a range of cleaning, maintenance, and waste management duties to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep and clear rubbish, dust, dirt, and debris from surrounding premises and compound
• Sweep and clean car park and tanker parking areas, including the diesel pump area
• Sweep and mop the main lobby and staircase area daily, and clean entrance glass panels
• Collect and dispose of rubbish and unwanted items into rubbish bins, and manage rubbish point areas
• Wash and clean wash basins, taps, toilet urinals, bowls, cubicles, walls, and mirrors
• Cut and trim grass around the premises and remove dried leaves from landscaped areas
• Clean surrounding drains using high-pressure water jet and remove leaves, sand, and debris to prevent blockages
• Assist with washing and cleaning of tanker as scheduled by Transport and Workshop department
• Sweep rooftop areas and remove dried leaves and debris, ensuring no blockage to rainwater outlets
• Sweep warehouse floors and remove rubbish from work areas

About you

• Always ensure safe and clean working environment
• Report any defects, leaks, safety hazards, or abnormal findings to the Facilities/Safety Department immediately
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and PPE while on duty
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and tools are properly kept and stored after use
• Follow all workplace safety rules and company regulations
• Work At Height certified is preferred

Working hours: Mon to Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Sat: 8.30am to 12.30pm
