Job summary

Maersk in Singapore is seeking a warehouse associate to handle daily activities including receiving, picking, packing, and unloading shipments. You will help maintain accurate stock levels, label and shelve items, and perform regular stock counts with attention to safety and quality.

The role requires basic secondary education, prior warehouse experience, and a willingness to work long hours and overtime. Forklift and work-at-height licenses are preferred, and familiarity with WMS is

Qualifications

• Minimum Secondary Level/ITE required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to carry heavy goods and stand/walk long hours.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Forklift license and work-at-height license are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily warehouse tasks: receiving, picking and packing goods.
• Assist inventory by organizing stock, labeling, shelving and stock counts.
• Load/unload containers, sort incoming goods, handle returns.
• Use RDT scanner to scan pallets.
• Conduct weekly/monthly stock counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free warehouse environment.

Job description

• Responsible for daily warehouse activities such as receiving, picking and packing goods
• Assist in warehouse inventory by organizing and maintaining stock levels. This includes labeling and shelving items, conducting regular stock counts, and updating inventory records
• Loading and unloading of containers, sorting of incoming goods and handling returns
• Use the RDT scanner to scan pallets
• Perform Weekly/Monthly stock count
• Ensure smooth inventory movement and inventory accuracy
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Requirements:

• Minimum Secondary Level/ITE
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to carry heavy goods, long hours of walking and standing
• Experience in operating MHE such as Forklift, Reach Truck, and/or Order Picker
• Possess a valid forklift license, and work-at-height license will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be an added advantage
• Willing to work overtime whenever required
