Job summary

UNICO MARINE PTE. LTD. is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to support our marine operations. You will handle receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching marine equipment, spare parts and materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse operations.

This role requires physical fitness, independence, and the ability to work under pressure, with strong teamwork across Operations, Logistics, Purchasing and Sales to meet urgent vessel and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine, shipping, offshore or related industries is advantageous.
• Knowledge of marine navigation equipment or spare parts is desirable.
• Physically fit for manual warehouse tasks.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet urgent timelines.
• Forklift license is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming marine equipment against purchase orders, delivery orders and documents.
• Pick, pack, label and prepare goods for local delivery, vessel delivery or customer collection.
• Maintain inventory storage and organization to ensure quality and prevent loss or damage.
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Purchasing and Sales to fulfill orders.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety and compliance with procedures.
• Support urgent vessel requirements by arranging materials within tight timelines.
• Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned by Management.

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our marine operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching marine equipment, spare parts, and materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming marine equipment, spare parts, and materials against purchase orders, delivery orders, and supporting documents.

• Pick, pack, label, and prepare goods accurately for local delivery, vessel delivery, or customer collection.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of inventory to maintain product quality and prevent loss or damage.

• Coordinate closely with Operations, Logistics, Purchasing, and Sales teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and operational requirements.

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company procedures.

• Support urgent vessel requirements by preparing and arranging materials within tight timelines.

• Perform other warehouse and logistics-related duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Experience in the marine, shipping, offshore, or related industries will be an added advantage.

• Physically fit and capable of handling manual warehouse activities.

• Possession of a valid forklift license is an added advantage.
