Job summary

Avnet Singapore seeks an entry-level warehouse associate to perform a variety of distribution center tasks. You will pick, pack, ship, receive, and inspect goods, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.

You will contribute to process improvements, maintain inventory records, and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment. A forklift certification may be required and the role involves light lifting and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related warehouse experience.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to meet floor to shelf height requirements up to 15 feet.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills orders from stored inventory meeting customer requirements and inspection/testing processes. Ships orders within time commitments and completes all documentation. Communicates with lead/supervisor regarding any fulfillment issues or problems.
• Receives, unpacks, and inspects incoming materials and product, and verifies against written orders. Returns defective materials.
• Ensures documentation such as packing lists, shipping labels, and other such documents are complete, accurate and processed appropriately.
• Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.
• Maitains and updates systems as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
