Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical teaching and bedside coaching to nursing and care staff.
• Demonstrate correct clinical procedures and reinforce safe practices.
• Observe practice and give immediate constructive feedback.
• Assess staff competencies through observations and practical demonstrations.
• Support new staff orientation and ward-based induction.
• Deliver clinical skills training in areas such as medication safety, wound care, infection control and dementia care.
• Conduct ward rounds to monitor practice and identify gaps.
• Provide remedial training and coaching for staff with performance gaps.
• Assist in incident-related education and follow-up training.
• Support development of ward-based preceptors and coaching staff.
• Develop and review competency tools and training materials.
