Job summary

AMD in Singapore offers an intern/co-op opportunity focused on wafer sort and final test thermal mechanical hardware development. You will work on ATE hardware projects, gain industry experience, and learn systematic project management while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role targets students in Singaporean universities and runs from early Jan 2027 to late May 2027, with a possible extension to Aug 2027. Strong analytical skills and CAD familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical engineering background required.
• Familiarity with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Python or JavaScript programming basics are desirable.
• Strong analytical and teamwork abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Acquire basic knowledge for ATE testing hardware.
• Understand hardware differences across handler platforms and define generic OSAT standards.
• Support mechanical design changes based on engineering change requests.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.
• Help ensure designs meet company standards and manufacturing requirements.
