Job summary

AMD invites students to join as an Intern for wafer sort/final test thermal mechanical hardware development in Singapore. You will work with engineers on developing hardware, learn ATE testing concepts, and gain hands-on experience across multiple platforms.

This internship runs from early January 2027 to late May 2027, with a potential extension through August 2027. Applicants should be pursuing Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing/Data Science engineering programs and be based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical engineering background is required.
• Familiarity with at least one CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Basic programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Acquire basic knowledge for ATE testing hardware.
• Understand hardware differences across handler platforms and come out generic standard for OSAT.
• Support mechanical design modifications based on engineering change requests.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.
• Help verify design compliance with company standards and manufacturing requirements.
