Job summary

MEIDEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a VR Software Developer to design, develop, and support immersive VR training applications that simulate realistic workplace and safety scenarios.

You will build interactive VR environments, scenario logic, assessments and performance reporting across supported devices. The role requires 3–5 years in VR/AR/game development, strong C# or C++ skills, and hands-on experience with Unity/Unreal Engine and VR frameworks such as OpenXR or SteamVR.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, Interactive Media, Immersive Technology or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of VR/AR/game or interactive application development experience.
• Hands-on experience developing VR applications using Unity, Unreal Engine or an equivalent platform.
• Proficiency in C# or C++ or equivalent.
• Experience with VR development frameworks and standards such as OpenXR, Meta XR SDK, SteamVR or equivalent.
• Ability to independently develop a VR application from concept to testing, deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support end-to-end VR training software.
• Translate workplace scenarios into realistic VR simulations.
• Create VR environments including UI, scenario logic and hazard-identification tasks.
• Develop pre-training tutorials and post-training evaluations and scoring reports.
• Integrate audio and visual effects into the VR application.
• Optimize the application for usability and device compatibility.
• Secure the source code and maintain technical docs and training records.
• Provide technical support during training and troubleshoot issues.
