Job summary

NUS CUTE Center is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build immersive training and simulation systems on Unity, integrating Generative AI and MCP to enable dynamic prompt-based generation across a distributed XR platform.

The role emphasizes self-learning, adapting AI-assisted development tools, and hands-on Unity (C#) development for VR/AR/XR experiences with hardware interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience with Unity engine (C#).
• Proficiency in Python and JSON schemas.
• Experience with Git workflows and version control.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, researchers and stakeholders to develop VR/AR/MR/XR simulations on Unity with hardware interfaces.
• Build and extend simulation features in a distributed, multi-device environment with roles and session management.
• Integrate LLMs and MCP to translate prompts into JSON-based logic for real-time Unity content generation.
