Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Software Engineer at the NUS CUTE Center. You will design and build immersive VR/AR/MR simulations on Unity, integrating AI-driven prompts and MCP into a distributed Unity setup.

You will work with designers and researchers to evolve legacy VR training into an adaptive platform, leveraging AI-assisted workflows and modern MLOps concepts. The ideal candidate combines strong Unity(C#) fundamentals with self-driven learning, experience

Qualifications

Proficiency with Unity engine and C#.
Experience with Python for scripting or tooling.
Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
Experience integrating LLMs via APIs and knowledge of MCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with designers and researchers to develop VR/AR/MR software simulations on Unity.
Extend features across a distributed, multi-device environment with session management.
Build interfaces where LLMs drive JSON-based logic for real-time content generation in Unity.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping and maintain code quality.
Create technical documentation and provide coding best-practices guidance.
