Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking an experienced Test & Readiness lead for Wholesale Operations. You will guide a small team, drive requirements, UAT planning, and test automation using TOSCA, ensuring robust operations for technology changes.

The role requires extensive testing leadership, strong communication with senior stakeholders, and a solid background in Cash Management or Payments Operations within financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 12+ years in financial institutions, esp. Cash Management or Payments Operations.
• Strong SWIFT (MT & MX), ISO 20022, CBPR+ knowledge and cross-border flows.
• Operations & project management experience is a must.
• Solid testing or test management with UAT planning and defect governance.
• Experience leading small teams (5–10 people).
• Proficient in TOSCA or similar enterprise testing tools.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools for analysis/documentation is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; stakeholder-facing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to provide operational readiness support for tech changes.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on solutions.
• Review Functional Specs to ensure requirements meet business needs.
• Assess operational impact; include requirements in specs.
• Define High Risk areas with operations and business users.
• Define High Business Values with operations and business users.
• Assign risk weightage to requirements.
• Engage users to prepare UAT scenarios.
• Establish traceability for requirements and test cases.
• Prioritize test design and execution in TOSCA.
• Review UAT test cases and results; publish metrics.
• Identify potential modules for automation.
• Learn and master TOSCA for end-to-end testing automation.
• Create test scenarios in TOSCA for test teams.
• Ensure training on new system/enhancements for operations users.
• Prepare target operating model documents for ops procedures.
• Provide post-implementation support to operations users.
• Review and submit management reports.
