Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking an experienced UAT and test management professional to join the Wholesale Operational Readiness Centre (WORC). You will analyse business requirements, design UAT test cases (using TOSCA), and ensure end-to-end traceability for cash management and payments initiatives.

You'll lead test planning, execution, and defect governance, coordinating with Product, Technology, and Operations to ensure readiness for transformation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in financial institutions, preferably in Cash Management or Payments Operations.
• Strong understanding of SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022 formats, CBPR+, and cross-border payment flows.
• Solid experience in testing or test management, including UAT planning, test execution, and defect governance.
• Proficient in TOSCA or similar enterprise testing tools.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools to improve UAT effectiveness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Business Requirements and Functional Specifications/ User Stories with emphasis on cash operations and payment flows.
• Design comprehensive UAT test cases using TOSCA or bank-approved tools with full coverage of SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022 schemas, and mapping rules.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between functional specs and test cases.
• Facilitate test case walkthroughs with business and operations stakeholders; incorporate feedback into final test packs.
• Identify scenarios for test automation and collaborate with Automation Lead to build automated test coverage.
• Drive execution of both manual and automated tests per UAT plan; align with test strategy and timelines.
• Log, track, and manage defects; participate in defect calls and retesting cycles.
• Review UAT outcomes, publish test metrics, and provide go/no-go input based on readiness.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge-case defects or operational gaps.
