Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd, a leading Asia-Pacific financial institution, seeks a senior UAT specialist to join the Wholesale Operational Readiness Centre (WORC) in Singapore. You will focus on Cash Operations and Payments initiatives, ensuring flawless UAT execution and operational readiness.

You will design UAT test cases covering SWIFT MT/MX and ISO 20022, drive traceability from specs to tests, and lead automated testing with the Automation Lead.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in financial institutions, preferably in Cash Management or Payments Operations.
• Strong understanding of SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022 formats, CBPR+ and cross-border payment flows.
• Solid experience in testing or test management, including UAT planning, test execution, and defect governance.
• Proficient in TOSCA or similar enterprise testing tools.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools to improve UAT effectiveness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse Business Requirements and Functional Specifications with focus on cash operations and payment flows.
• Design comprehensive UAT test cases covering SWIFT MT/MX messages, ISO 20022 schemas, and related mapping rules.
• Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability between functional specs and test cases.
• Facilitate test case walkthroughs with business and operations stakeholders; incorporate feedback into final test packs.
• Identify suitable scenarios for test automation and collaborate with the Automation Lead to build automated test coverage.
• Drive execution of both manual and automated tests according to the UAT plan.
• Log, track, and manage defects through the lifecycle; participate in defect calls and retesting cycles.
• Review UAT outcomes, publish test metrics, and provide go/no-go input based on operational readiness.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge-case defects or operational gaps.
