Responsibilities

• Partner with International Centres Ops and Regional Operations to standardize processes and system solutions.
• Maintain ongoing engagement with International Centres Ops to explain Head Office initiatives and address challenges.
• Drive and guide locations on operational risk management to ensure risk standards compliance.
• Review operations metrics, KRIs and reports from locations; exercise sound judgment and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate regional projects with Regional Ops to ensure timely delivery across International Centres.

About the role

This position is established to provide comprehensive governance, management, and robust risk control oversight, crucial for driving the regionalization and standardization of the IBGO strategy across our 8 International Centres’ Operations teams.

The role actively ensures compliance with risk standards, meticulously manages third-party risk governance, and requires consistent engagement with international centers to proactively address operational challenges and foster excellence.

Responsibilities

• Work in close partnership with International Centres Ops team and Regional Operations teams to standardize processes and system solutions.
• Maintain constant engagement with International Centres Ops teams to explain Head Office initiatives, understand challenges from locations, and collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve roadblocks.
• Drive and guide locations on operational risk management to ensure compliance to risk standards.
• Review operations metrics, Key Risk Indicators (KRI), and management reports submitted by the locations. Exercise sound judgment and escalated issues appropriately.
• Work with Regional Ops team to coordinate regional projects impacting International Centres, ensuring that regional are delivered on schedule.

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 8 years of experience in a banking operations risk & control role, ideally with experience in IBG Operations (trade finance, corporate loan) product;
• Strong risk control mindset, with experience in Operational Risk Management, RCSA and/or Third Party Risk Management control functions.;
• Positive and proactive attitude to lead and to get things done;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with strong collaborative attitude.
