Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) in Singapore seeks a Senior Responsible AI Specialist to design, deploy, and govern AI systems in line with ethical standards and regulations. You will establish standards, playbooks, and tools embedding fairness, transparency, and privacy into AI solutions while mitigating risks.

You will act as a liaison with risk management, business units, and external forums, driving AI governance and education across the organization to promote responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in AI/ML with risk/governance exposure.
• Strong understanding of AI lifecycle, LLMs, bias and explainability.
• 5+ years of experience with model validation methodologies.
• Familiar with AI regulatory frameworks and ethics principles.
• Excellent communication to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal Responsible AI standards, guidelines and playbooks.
• Advise project teams on risk mitigation and embed Responsible AI requirements.
• Serve as liaison between business and risk management on AI matters.
• Ensure compliance with global regulations and internal policies.
