DBS Bank Ltd. seeks a seasoned Relationship Manager for its Asia Central team within Institutional Banking Group. You will onboard clients, perform in-depth analysis and due diligence, and structure transactions to meet client needs.

The role requires strong credit risk assessment and a broad network in the new economy space. The candidate should have at least 8 years’ experience in banks, VC funds, startups, or accounting firms, plus excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills and cross-functional

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related fields.
• At least 8 years working experience in a commercial or investment bank, venture capital fund, new economy start-up, accounting firm, with demonstrated expertise in credit risk assessment and structuring debt deals.
• Passionate about the new economy sector, and well-established network among new economy companies, founders and venture capital funds.
• High level of interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation, technical and financial modelling skills (including proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint)
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multinational financial services environment
• Proactive self-starter able to manage multiple priorities independently while effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

• Formulate, solicit, identify and initiate account strategies in expanding existing and developing new portfolios to build industry franchise within assigned industry segment.
• Complete and execute account plans on clients along identified target markets by driving business development and collaborating with internal partners across various geographies.
• Increase product penetration and cross selling of IBG’s services including capital markets, transaction banking services and treasury, demonstrating an understanding of the client’s business needs and ability to procure support from product groups.
• Support clients in their cash management requirements, including account opening and transaction banking, plus actively cross sell other products such as treasury services.
• Prepare financial models with P&L, B/S & cash-flow projections based on sound business and market assumptions.
• Analyse potential debt opportunities, equity advisory, cash management and transaction banking solutions with a focus on their business models, market positioning, and financial performance.
• Assist in preparing termsheets, structuring and negotiating transaction terms, and executing transactions (including legal documentation).
• Stay current on NBFI and new economy industry trends, market conditions, competitive, compliance and regulatory landscape, particularly associated with Fintech and Money Services Businesses.
• Proactively manage and acquire new NBFI (such as venture capital, fintechs, payment services provider) and DEG relationships to drive revenue growth, capture wallet share, and expand an assigned portfolio.
