Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking a Vice President, System Analyst - Payment to lead complex payment system initiatives in Singapore. The role requires extensive senior system analysis experience within financial services and payments, with strong SDLC and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, CS or equivalent.
• 10+ years senior System Analyst experience in financial services, payments preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.
• Proven SDLC leadership across multi-team, multi-vendor projects.
• Knowledge of remittance system integration and API methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan design solutioning, testing and implementation activities with timelines and effort estimates with Delivery Manager.
• Discuss and work with business analyst to understand, analyse, validate user/business/system requirements to determine the project requirements.
• Drive Technical/System requirements from abstract product vision to detailed system/technical requirements in collaboration with solution architect.
• Lead design of functional solutions with Technical Leads and ensure integration across teams.
• Lead cross-functional and technical teams for a seamless integrated solution.
• Document functional specifications and obtain user sign-off on requirements and proposed solutions.
• Support test activities and defects triage in collaboration with QA and testing teams.
• Collaborate on migration design and data mapping across domains.
• Prepare training materials and conduct user training and support to end users.
