Job summary

SUMITOMO MITSUI BANKING CORPORATION SINGAPORE BRANCH seeks a senior System Analyst/Integration Specialist to drive techno-functional analysis across payments platforms. You will lead end-to-end design, mapping, and governance of cross-system integrations within a complex payments landscape.

You will coordinate architecture decisions, collaborate with product, engineering, and vendors, and ensure regulatory and security requirements are upheld across multi-system implementations in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in senior System Analyst/Integration/Solution Design in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of payments, settlement, reconciliation and payment-system integration.
• Experience with payment hubs or processing platforms; Oracle Banking Payments preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT, RTGS, and real-time payments.

Responsibilities

• Plan analysis, design, testing, implementation, and migration with cross-functional teams.
• Translate outcomes into system, integration, data, and non-functional requirements.
• Define end-to-end payment journeys and data handling scenarios.
• Own integration specifications, API and messaging patterns, and security.
• Lead architecture reviews, governance, and vendor collaboration.
• Coordinate cutover sequencing, runbooks, and validation activities.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability from business to design and test coverage.
