Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited seeks a results-driven technology delivery leader to head a global cards development team. You will manage end-to-end solution delivery from design to implementation on the mainframe, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and guide the team through complex change requests while maintaining high-quality standards.

The role requires a deep Cards domain background, strong leadership, and ability to thrive in a large, globally distributed development organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain.
• More than 10 years' delivery record in developing and delivering global / regional Cards solutions for a multi-national/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility.
• Minimum of 10 years of technology experience with at least 8 years in the cards application domain.
• Good functional knowledge of cards to design and develop effective / efficient solutions in meeting business requirements.
• Experience with large scale Cards migration on Cardlink or cryptography will be advantageous.
• Proven experience to project manage a team of developers and vendors ensuring timely delivery of system enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Developers, managing system development, implementation and support of Cards-related applications on the mainframe platform.
• Understand and contribute to the technical solution from design through to code level.
• Develop estimates for all business requirements and change requests and coordinate with vendors.
• Hands-on guidance to the development team on functional and technical issues and ensure adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve application and system issues and ensure quality deliverables.
