HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior professional to lead fund governance and due diligence for the ILP fund shelf.

You will own the due diligence framework, ensure compliance with MAS Notice 307, and drive ongoing suitability assessments and governance reporting to senior management. The role requires extensive experience in fund research, manager selection and investment governance, with a strong grasp of regulatory requirements and external fund relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics, business or related discipline.
• Experience in fund research, due diligence or governance.
• Familiarity with investment-linked products and regulatory rules.

Responsabilités

• Own the fund due diligence framework and ongoing suitability assessment for the ILP shelf.
• Design and maintain risk-tiered due diligence framework and escalation.
• Conduct onboarding due diligence on proposed funds and managers.
• Execute periodic re‑assessment including quarterly peer percentile reviews and watchlists.
• Lead remediation of funds outside approval criteria with enhanced due diligence.
• Ensure fund-level MAS Notice 307 compliance and robust disclosures.
• Manage manager information flows and governance reporting to committees.
