Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a senior full-stack developer for the Synthetic Product Group (SPG). You will design, build, and maintain high-performance platforms for risk hedging, trade execution, and post-trade processing while collaborating with traders, quants, and operations globally.

You will apply AI to engineering workflows, collect system metrics, and contribute to an AI toolkit to drive efficiency and innovation across the front office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Research or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Hands-on experience with Java and object-oriented programming concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-performance, high-availability platforms for risk hedging, trade execution, trade booking and workflow management.
• Design and build solutions to scale infrastructure for business growth and new products in a front-to-back approach.
• Apply AI to technical and business deliverables; contribute to the SPG AI toolkit and evangelize AI within the organization.
• Collect data and metrics from existing systems to guide decision making and business intelligence.
• Communicate with traders, sales, strategists, operations, and compliance to gather requirements and deliver features.
