Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Vice President - Fixed Income Specialist within the Private Bank's Capital Markets Group in Singapore.

You will cover fixed income cash trading and advisory, guide relationships, and work with regional stakeholders on market updates and ideas. You will actively monitor markets, deliver trade ideas, and drive client engagement while ensuring compliance and prudent risk management.

Qualifications

• This role requires deep knowledge of fixed income products including cash bonds, structured products and credit derivatives.
• Experience managing UHNW clients or family offices and understanding their investment objectives.
• Proficient Mandarin reading/writing to interact with Greater China clients.
• Ability to read market trends, indicators and portfolios to provide informed recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to explain complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ideas and trade recommendations with high execution quality.
• Develop and market to relationship managers and client base to meet revenue objectives.
• Monitor fixed income markets and provide timely intelligence to coverage teams.
• Maintain rigorous risk management with clients in line with risk appetites.
• Increase client penetration across fixed income offerings and collaborate regionally.
