Job summary

GIC Private Limited is seeking a VP-level Network Services & Automation Engineer to own core network services, lifecycle, and the automation platform that underpins global networks. You will drive resilience, observability, and secure change delivery across data centres, WAN, campus, cloud and AWS Outposts.

You will lead the network management plane, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and authentication services while shaping standards, tooling, and vendor collaborations to protect Singapore's reserves and enable

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in network engineering or platform roles.
• 3+ years owning enterprise DDI services and/or network automation platforms.
• Deep experience with DNS, DHCP and IPAM at scale.
• Strong automation skills with Ansible, Python, Git and CI/CD.
• Experience designing monitoring and observability for multi-vendor networks.
• Product mindset with internal stakeholder empathy and reliability focus.

Responsibilities

• Own DDI services architecture, resilience, DNS security and lifecycle.
• Own network device AAA services and integration with PAM/identity platforms.
• Engineer the network management plane and secure connectivity.
• Design and run the observability stack across data centres, WAN, campus, cloud, Outposts.
• Build and run the network automation platform with NetBox, Ansible, Git, CI/CD.
• Deliver configuration compliance and drift detection; automate audit evidence.
• Set engineering standards and coach engineers across the pillar.
• Evaluate tooling vendors, manage capacity, and handle incidents escalation.
• Hand over services to Network Operations with acceptance criteria and runbooks.
