Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a senior Network Architect to lead architecture, reliability, and automation across APAC. You will define end-to-end network standards, roadmaps, and security controls while driving proactive monitoring and fault detection.

You will implement secure automation with Python, Ansible, REST APIs, and Git, and oversee HA/DR, capacity planning, and incident reviews. Mentoring teams and aligning investments with APAC strategy are key elements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in network architecture, engineering, or SRE in complex enterprise environments, ideally banking/financial.
• CNP/CCIE certified with proven data centre, campus, WAN/SD-WAN, Internet and cloud connectivity experience.
• Strong routing and switching knowledge: BGP, OSPF, QoS, VPN, DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
• Hands-on Python, Ansible, REST APIs, Git, and IAC practices.
• Observability and telemetry expertise: dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, alerting, capacity engineering.
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Meraki, Zscaler, Cisco ISE or equivalent.
• Ability to perform RCA, post-incident reviews, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead network architecture and reliability engineering across APAC.
• Define standards, roadmaps, security, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
• Establish SLIs/SLOs, telemetry, dashboards, and intelligent alerting.
• Develop secure automation and IaC using Python, Ansible, APIs, and Git.
• Engineer HA, DR, failover, and capacity planning.
• Lead L3 escalations, RCA, and post-incident reviews.
• Embed security, risk, governance, and lifecycle practices.
• Mentor teams and drive architecture reviews aligned with APAC strategy.
