Job summary

Temasek Holdings is seeking an AVP/VP in Cybersecurity Governance to fortify trust, resilience and assurance across cybersecurity, AI security and emerging technology risks. You will collaborate with business units and partners to shape governance frameworks, enable secure innovation and ensure responsible AI adoption.

The role reports to the CISO and focuses on independent governance, risk management, and continuous improvement of risk standards across Temasek and its ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security governance, risk management, compliance or oversight roles.
• Experience in developing governance frameworks, policies, standards, risk assessments and assurance programmes.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent governance, oversight and assurance across cybersecurity, AI security, IT security and emerging technology risks.
• Shape governance frameworks, policies, standards and control requirements in collaboration with the CISO and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments, reviews of security controls and assurance activities across business initiatives and AI deployments.
• Support third-party, supply chain and AI vendor risk management programmes.
• Develop data-driven risk reporting, indicators and dashboards for senior management and governance committees.
• Assist in incident response, risk-informed decision-making and continuous improvement of risk governance practices.
