Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) seeks a Vice President, Credit Portfolio Stress Testing in Risk Management to lead the development and enhancement of regional stress testing capabilities for APAC ex-Japan.

You will oversee top-down and bottom-up scenario design, ensure robust governance, and guide junior colleagues while aligning outputs with risk appetite and strategic priorities across Singapore and regional offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in credit risk management or stress testing.
• Strong credit risk modelling skills and stress testing understanding.
• Ability to articulate results to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and enhancement of credit stress testing for APAC ex-Japan region.
• Develop macroeconomic and sector-specific stress scenarios.
• Ensure model risk governance, validation, back-testing and documentation.
• Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with 1LoD/2LoD/3LoD and cross-functional teams.
