Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of corporate clients and deliver tailored banking solutions. You will identify new business opportunities, cross-sell products (loans, trade finance, cash management, treasury) and present credit proposals in line with internal policies and risk appetite.

With 5–8 years in corporate banking and strong analytical/credit skills, you will build relationships at senior levels

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in corporate banking or relationship management, with a proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients in the Real Estate.
• Strong understanding of corporate financial products and services (e.g., loans, trade finance, cash management, treasury).
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and credit assessment skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a designated portfolio of corporate clients, understanding their business objectives and financial requirements.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling UOB products and services (e.g., trade finance, cash management, treasury).
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of client businesses to assess creditworthiness and propose appropriate lending and investment solutions.
• Prepare and present credit proposals, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, credit risk, legal, and operations teams, to deliver seamless client service.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant banking laws, regulations, and internal policies.
