Job summary

MINDSG LTD is seeking a Vocational Coach at the MINDS Regional Hub Woodlands to provide tailored support for clients pursuing vocational training goals. You will assess strengths, plan development, and facilitate job readiness and placement activities within a collaborative network of therapists, training officers, and employers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in any relevant discipline (e.g. Special Education, Disability Studies, Social Work, Psychology, OT, PT).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with persons with disabilities in vocational or employment settings.
• Strong understanding of ID/ASD and effective support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized vocational assessments and planning with clients.
• Develop IDPs with clients and families and coordinate with AHPs and TOs.
• Deliver work readiness coaching and workshops on workplace etiquette and problem-solving.
• Lead on-the-job coaching and support in enclave/supported employment and open employment settings.
• Monitor progress and support job retention and career advancement.
• Coordinate with JPJS and other stakeholders to facilitate client transitions.

Education
