Job summary

MINDS Community Hub (Faber) in Singapore seeks passionate staff to support individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will teach daily living, social, and work-readiness skills, while guiding learners toward greater independence within a supportive setting.

Responsibilities include planning ILPs, ongoing assessment, group activities, health and safety oversight, collaboration with allied health professionals, and caregiver engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum O levels completed.
• NITEC Certificate in Community Care & Social Services (ITE).
• Certificate of Special Needs Education (MOE).
• Diploma of Special Education (MOE).
• Diploma in Disability Studies (SSI).
• Diploma of Community Services (SSI).

Responsibilities

• Teach, train, supervise and develop clients to function independently in activities of daily living, home living, mobility, social and work readiness.
• Develop and implement Individual Learning Program (ILP) through professional assessment.
• Plan and run group activities and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Support Allied Health Professionals and communicate with Social Worker and Centre Manager.
• Assist in administrative/operations tasks and caregiver engagement.
• Oversee events and activities (camps, celebrations, sports, first aid, transport).
