Job summary

MINDSG LTD. is seeking a dedicated Job Coach at Towner Gardens School to support students’ school-to-work transition through vocational preparation, job placement and ongoing employment support.

You will collaborate with teachers and allied health professionals, identify opportunities, arrange job attachments, provide job matching, and guide students and families toward successful work experiences, with a focus on inclusive, student-centered planning.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years working experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support students' school-to-work transition through vocational preparation, job placement, and ongoing employment support.
• Work closely with Teachers and AHPs to prepare and assess student's readiness for job attachments and placements.
• Identify and provide support to develop students' confidence and interest in the job before attachments.
• Source and arrange for job attachment opportunities (school, community, industry).
• Provide job matching for students.
• Analyse and evaluate suitability of the job site.
• Prepare students for job attachments and negotiate terms with employers when applicable.
• Provide continued support and guidance to students on the job.
• Collaborate with families, teachers and employers to support students during attachments.
