Job summary

HASHTAG FORGE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a highly skilled VMware Administrator to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot VMware Cloud Foundation solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience and strong client communication. You will configure SDDC Manager, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria, perform patching and upgrades, monitor performance, and enforce security and DR strategies across multi-site environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on VMware VCF experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting.
• VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, or higher.
• Strong client-facing communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure VMware Cloud Foundation components (SDDC Manager, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria) to establish robust virtualization environments
• Perform lifecycle management tasks such as patching, upgrades, and configuration management using SDDC Manager to maintain system stability and security
• Monitor, manage, and maintain VCF infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking layers to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Enforce compliance with security standards and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity
• Manage role-based access control and integrate with enterprise identity providers to secure user access and permissions
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot NSX components including Segments, T1/T0 Gateways, and Edge Nodes to support network virtualization
• Implement micro-segmentation, distributed firewall policies, and security rules to enhance network security within VCF environments
• Design and manage NSX routing, switching, load balancing, and overlay networking to optimize network traffic flow and resilience
• Configure and manage NSX for micro-segmentation, distributed firewalls, and north-south connectivity to protect workloads and external access
• Design L2/L3 networking for VCF workload domains and multi-site deployments to support scalable and resilient infrastructure
• Collaborate with network and security teams to integrate virtualized networks with physical infrastructure for seamless operations
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve technical issues across the full VCF stack including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC Manager to minimize downtime
• Document processes, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency
• Develop and maintain solution documentation, best practices, and client-facing materials to facilitate effective communication and service delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure modernization and cloud adoption initiatives aligned with business goals
• Provide technical consultation and advisory services to clients to guide virtualization strategy and implementation
