Job summary

IVT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced VMware Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize virtualization stacks for enterprise customers.

You will translate business requirements into technical architectures and lead the deployment of VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, and NSX while coordinating with stakeholders. You will document designs, develop blueprints, run workshops, mentor teams, and ensure knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with customers to assess current infrastructure, objectives and requirements.
• Perform needs analysis to identify critical virtualization areas.
• Document and prioritize customer requirements aligning with VMware capabilities.
• Design robust VMware architectures meeting performance, scalability and security needs.
• Develop technical design documents and architecture blueprints.
• Collaborate with customer and internal teams to validate designs.
• Create project timelines, resource plans and deliverables with PMs.
• Coordinate with consultants and engineers to ensure seamless integration.
• Act as technical lead overseeing implementation and troubleshooting.
• Drive deployment and configuration of VCF, vSphere, vSAN and NSX stack.
• Ensure customer requirements are met throughout the implementation phase.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and optimize the environment.
• Maintain ongoing customer communications and manage expectations.
• Identify risks and propose mitigations ahead of time.
• Develop hands-on knowledge transfer workshops for customer teams.
• Provide documentation and operational guidelines to IT teams.
• Stay updated on VMware products, features and industry trends.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions that drive value.
