Job summary

Ikas International (Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced VMware infrastructure expert to design, deploy and manage enterprise VMware environments in a large-scale setting. The role focuses on ESXi/vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T and VCF, with emphasis on upgrades, migrations and lifecycle management.

The candidate will collaborate with infrastructure, network and storage teams, producing documentation and supporting modernization initiatives across the stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on VMware infrastructure experience.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise VMware environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and implement enterprise VMware infrastructure.
• Build and administer VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi, vCenter, clusters, networking and storage.
• Deploy and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
• Configure and administer VMware vSAN, distributed switches (vDS), HA and DRS.
• Perform VMware platform upgrades, migrations and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across VMware compute, storage and networking layers.
• Implement and maintain VMware NSX-T for software-defined networking.
• Work closely with infrastructure, network and storage teams to deliver enterprise virtualization solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and participate in knowledge transfer activities.
